Job summary

Roamly in San Francisco, CA seeks an experienced Actuary to drive pricing, reserving, and performance analytics for its program portfolio. You will build initial rating structures, quantify profitability, and influence decisions on rate, appetite, and new program launches.

You will collaborate with Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Product, and Engineering across auto, carshare, RV, and mobility lines, automate recurring analyses, and introduce AI where it speeds the cycle.

Qualifications

• ACAS/FCAS or equivalent actuarial certification.
• 4+ years of P&C actuarial experience in auto, specialty, or program business.
• Strong skills in ratemaking, reserving, and trend analysis.

Responsibilities

• New program development: build rating structures and pricing models.
• Program performance reporting: loss ratio, frequency, severity, trends.
• Carrier & reinsurance support: submissions and bordereaux accuracy.
• Pricing & rate analysis: rate indications, market testing, filings.
• Underwriting partnership: support referrals and guidelines.
