Job summary

The Hartford Internship Program is an 11-week, full-time, in-person actuarial internship based at our Hartford, CT home office. Interns will work across Property & Casualty and Employee Benefits, gaining exposure to pricing, reserving, data science, ERM, and more while receiving structured training in R and actuarial concepts.

Selected candidates are pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science or related fields and have passed at least one actuarial exam.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, math, economics, finance, or related fields.
• Candidates should have passed at least one actuarial exam.
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support actuarial pricing, reserving, and data science projects across departments.
• Collaborate with colleagues on enterprise risk management and employee benefits initiatives.
