Job summary

The Hartford offers one of the premier actuarial summer internship programs designed to prepare you for a challenging actuarial career. This 11-week, in-person internship runs at the Hartford, CT home office, with a focus on pricing, reserving, data science, and enterprise risk management.

Interns work across departments, participate in training on R, and engage in team-building events as part of a supportive actuarial community. Housing and travel funding are provided to participants.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, math, economics, finance or related fields.
• Must have passed at least one actuarial exam.
• Strong analytical, leadership and communication skills.
