Job summary
CVS Health is seeking an Actuarial Manager for the Commercial and Medicare Dental portfolio to provide reserving, experience review, forecasting, and pricing support. This full-time role leads valuation decisions across local markets and collaborates with Finance to complete monthly reserving and forecasting processes.
The role also oversees experience reviews for Medicare and Commercial dental lines, supports the Medicare Advantage bid pricing, and acts as the primary point of contact for
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 3+ years healthcare experience
- ASA or progress toward actuarial credentials
- Strong analytical/financial skills
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration
Responsibilities
- Lead Commercial Dental valuation decisions and financial performance reviews across local markets nationwide
- Collaborate with Finance for monthly reserving, monthly close, quarterly premium deficiency reserves, and planning/forecasting
- Coordinate monthly experience reviews, experience studies, and monthly Network Discount reviews for Medicare dental and Commercial business
- Provide actuarial pricing, analysis, and strategic support for the Medicare Advantage Bid process
- Serve as primary point of contact and SME for Dental issues with internal teams and external consultants
