Job summary
CVS Health is seeking an Actuarial Manager to lead reserving, pricing, and forecasting for Commercial and Medicare Dental businesses across markets. You will collaborate with Finance, Market and Network teams to drive accurate monthly closes, experience reviews and quarterly reserves, while shaping pricing strategy for key products.
The role requires a Bachelor's degree with at least 3 years in healthcare actuarial work, ASA progress preferred, and strong technical, analytical and communication
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of healthcare actuarial experience.
- Strong technical, analytical and financial skills.
- ASA or progress toward actuarial credentials.
- Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead Commercial Dental valuation decisions and financial reviews across local markets.
- Manage monthly reserving, financial close and quarterly premium deficiency reviews.
- Coordinate with Market and Network teams for reviews and studies and monthly network discount reviews.
- Provide actuarial pricing, analysis and strategic support for Medicare Advantage Bid process.
- Serve as primary POC and SME for Dental issues with internal and external partners.
