Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Actuarial Manager for Commercial and Medicare Dental to lead reserving, experience review, forecasting and pricing support across local markets.

The role partners with Finance, Market, and Network teams to drive monthly reserving, financial close, experience studies, and pricing strategies for Medicare Advantage and commercial dental programs. Strong ASA or progress toward credentials is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of healthcare experience.
• Strong technical, analytical, and financial skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross functionally.
• ASA or demonstrated progress toward actuarial credentials.

Responsibilities

• Leads Commercial Dental valuation decisions and financial performance reviews across local markets.
• Manages monthly reserving, monthly close, and quarterly premium deficiency reserves.
• Oversees experience reviews, studies and Network Discount reviews for Medicare dental and Commercial business.
• Provides actuarial pricing, analysis, and strategic support for the Medicare Advantage Bid process.
• Serves as primary POC/SME for Dental issues with internal and external stakeholders.
