Job summary

CVS Health is seeking an Actuarial Manager for Commercial and Medicare Dental to provide reserving, experience review, forecasting and pricing support. The role leads valuation decisions and collaborates with Finance to ensure monthly close and quarterly reserves across national markets.

Required 3+ years of healthcare experience, ASA or progress toward credentials, and strong communication with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 3+ years of relevant healthcare experience.
• Strong technical, analytical, and financial skills.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• ASA, or progress toward actuarial credentials, is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead Commercial Dental valuation decisions and financial performance reviews across all local markets.
• Oversee monthly reserving, monthly close, and quarterly premium deficiency reserves; support planning and forecasting.
• Coordinate with Market and Network teams for monthly experience reviews and network discount reviews for Medicare dental and Commercial business.
• Provide actuarial pricing, analysis, and strategic support for the Medicare Advantage Bid process.
• Serve as primary POC and SME for Dental-related issues for internal and external stakeholders.
