Qualifications

• Fellowship in a recognized actuarial body (e.g., FCAS/FIA) or equivalent senior actuarial qualification.
• Substantial hands-on experience in reserving, pricing and/or capital/regulatory modelling within P&C insurance or reinsurance.
• Strong technical skills with actuarial tools and languages (Python, VBA, SQL, or R).
• Experience preparing actuarial reports and communicating with senior stakeholders/auditors.
• Proven ability to challenge model development teams and translate actuarial judgement into auditable requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in your area of expertise and support business development, sales initiatives, and client engagements.
• Validate and sign off model outputs and assumptions with proper documentation for committee and regulatory review.
• Perform and oversee complex actuarial analyses meeting standards of practice and produce thorough documentation.
• Lead internal client projects and review team outputs to ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Communicate actuarial findings and recommendations to finance, risk and senior management.
• Collaborate with actuarial developers to translate judgement into precise model requirements and verify implementations.
• Prepare executive reports and present findings to senior stakeholders, mentoring junior staff.
