Job summary

SageSure is seeking a Manager, Actuarial for the BOP Product Development unit of the Commercial Actuarial team. You will drive day‑to‑day execution, manage development and pricing analytics, and translate business requests into actuarial solutions for leadership.

You will supervise a small team (2–4) and collaborate with partners across the company to deliver pricing plans and insights for profitable growth in commercial lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or STEM‑related field.
• ACAS or FCAS, FCAS a plus.
• 5+ years of P&C insurance experience.
• Strong understanding of P&C insurance products; BOP experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical resources.
• Strong technical skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, R and SQL.
• Proven organizational and time‑management skills; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product development of new and existing Businessowner Policy products.
• Lead rate adequacy (indication) reviews and renewal impact analyses.
• Manage end‑to‑end product filings, including responses to rate‑related objections.
• Assist with research projects, including analysis of predictive model results and value of third‑party data.
• Conduct competitive intelligence analyses.
• Communicate analyses, project results, and business initiatives to staff, peers, and partners.
• Manage and guide the professional development of 2–4 direct reports.
