Job summary

SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking a Manager, Actuarial for the Businessowners Policy (BOP) Product Development unit of our Commercial Actuarial team. The role drives day-to-day execution, analyzes complex issues, and develops pricing plans while informing leadership with actionable analytics.

This position requires onsite work at one of several offices and leads 2–4 direct reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or STEM required.
• ACAS or FCAS certification preferred; FCAS a plus.
• 5+ years of P&C insurance experience required.
• Strong understanding of P&C products; BOP/product experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Manage the product development of new and existing Businessowner Policy products.
• Lead rate adequacy reviews and renewal impact analyses for profitable growth.
• Oversee end-to-end product filings and responses to rate-related objections.
• Assist with research, including predictive model results and value of third-party data in risk segmentation.
• Conduct competitive intelligence analyses and communicate results to stakeholders.
• Manage and develop 2–4 direct reports.
