Job summary

Jobtailor in Minneapolis, MN is seeking an actuarial analyst to support financial reporting, product development and pricing for annuity and life insurance lines. You will leverage Excel, VBA, and AI tools to build complex financial models and hedge investments while preparing analyses for senior leaders.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an Actuarial Science degree, have SOA exam progress, and demonstrate strong communication and math skills.

Qualifications

• Active pursuit of a degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field
• Completion of 1-2 SOA exams preferred
• Superior communication, programming and math skills
• Experience using Excel, VBA and/or other programming languages
• Leadership experience a plus
• Preference will be given to candidates that also have the following: Previous actuarial internship experience, Successful completion of at least one SOA exam, Programming or database management experience
• You must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring immigration sponsorship now or in the future.
