Job summary

Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions is offering an Actuarial Intern position in the U.S. with a hybrid schedule at either our Plymouth, MN or Boston, MA offices.

The role focuses on learning and supporting the Corporate Actuarial team on pricing, reserving, and modeling projects during a 10–12 week period beginning in early June 2027. You will work with professionals, gain practical experience in property-casualty insurance, and enhance data collection, reporting, and information management

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field and graduating December 2027 or later.
• Proficiency with Windows OS, Microsoft Office and Outlook; ability to handle data entry and spreadsheets.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and analytical skills are essential; previous actuarial exams are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist on actuarial projects across pricing, reserving, and modeling.
• Learn and apply pricing, reserving, and predictive modeling techniques.
• Support data collection, reporting, and information management within Corporate Actuarial.
