The Standard in the United States is seeking an Actuarial Developer to design, build, and operate software powering actuarial work. You will translate actuarial and financial needs into automated solutions, leveraging AI and Databricks, with cross‑functional collaboration across teams.

You will push analytics, forecasting, and risk modeling into reliable, well‑engineered tools while ensuring governance and quality across the SDLC. This role emphasizes AI integration and continuous learning.

Qualifikationen

• Direct experience developing analytical applications and automated data solutions is required.
• Experience with data pipelines, calculation engines, reporting solutions, and cloud platforms.
• Background in actuarial, insurance, risk management, or capital market finance is a plus.
• Ability to create technical designs, implementation specs, and solution architecture docs.
• Willingness to learn and apply AI-enabled development tools to improve delivery.

Aufgaben

• Design, develop, and deploy analysis software for actuarial teams, primarily on Databricks.
• Integrate with third-party systems such as GGY AXIS and ESG/risk modeling tools.
• Build software for actuarial and financial analysis, including forecasting and pricing.
• Collaborate across business and technical teams to meet data and decision needs.
• Lead with AI: adopt AI tools, review outputs, and ensure quality and governance.
• Research new techniques and share them with the broader team.
