Job summary

Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina is seeking an Actuarial Data Systems Analyst to deliver technical data support for Actuarial financial data systems and Marts. You will identify business requirements and support trend and financial data analyses for Plan divisions.

You will assist in data mart development, monthly data refreshes, QA checks, and build data extracts, reports, and views to support financial reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or advanced degree required.
• 3+ years of experience in related fields.
• In lieu of degree, 5+ years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in development, design and testing of data sets delivered through the Actuarial data marts.
• Assist with monthly data refreshes, validations, and quality assurance checks for financial reporting.
• Develop decision support solutions including medical and pharmacy claim data builds, data extracts, reports and data mart tables.
• Provide support for data definitions, usage, and SQL code structure; implement business rules.
