Job summary

MSIG USA is seeking a dynamic leader for Statistical Reporting & Insurance Analytics to drive extensive regulatory reporting programs and analytics initiatives. You will oversee a team delivering hundreds of reports, coordinating with vendors and technology to ensure compliance and accuracy across policy and claims systems.

The role requires deep actuarial and analytics expertise, strong leadership, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Finance, or related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of Property & Casualty insurance, actuarial, statistical reporting, analytics, or regulatory reporting functions.
• 3+ years of people leadership experience managing analytical, reporting, or actuarial-related teams.
• Experience working with regulatory reporting vendors and insurance bureaus.
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance operations, policy administration systems, and claims systems.
• Experience with Guidewire, Solartis, or similar policy administration platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of approximately 250 recurring statistical reports submitted to state regulatory agencies, rating bureaus, and other external entities.
• Oversee both business-as-usual reporting and the migration of reporting requirements to newly implemented policy and claims administration platforms.
• Manage relationships with external compliance reporting vendors, including Perr & Knight, to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and regulatory adherence.
• Serve as the primary liaison between compliance vendors, business stakeholders, and technology teams for updates related to state taxes, fees, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure the quality and compliance of reporting submissions, including ISO Verisk Commercial Lines Reporting (CSP, SCP+, Financial Calls), SAA Reporting, NCCI Reporting, Independent Bureau Submissions, and E&S Reporting.
• Direct the development of new reports, dashboards, and analytical queries utilizing internal and external data sources.
• Support actuarial pricing, reserving, underwriting, claims, financial analysis, and strategic business initiatives through advanced analytics and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, enhance data accessibility, and automate manual processes where ROI justifies implementation.
• Partner with Data, Data Operations, and Technology teams to design and implement automated reporting solutions.
• Promote best practices in data governance, reporting standards, and analytical methods.
• Lead definition, documentation, and validation of business requirements for new system implementations, enhancements, and break-fix initiatives.
• Partner with Technology, Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure proper design and implementation of reporting solutions.
• Manage UAT activities related to policy and claims administration systems and regulatory reporting functions.
• Support platforms such as Guidewire and Solartis, and internally developed policy administration systems.
