Job summary

EY Consulting’s IAAS practice in the US offers an apprenticeship‑minded environment where you’ll work with actuaries on real client challenges. You’ll develop technical, analytical and business skills while gaining exposure to financial modeling, loss reserving, rate setting and pricing for life/health and property/casualty insurers.

You’ll be supported by a counselor and peers, with paid study time for actuarial exams and exam fee coverage as you progress toward credentials.

Qualifications

• Be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, finance, mathematics or a related field, with strong academics.
• Be progressing toward passing actuarial exams; candidates with 2+ exams encouraged to apply.
• Have working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Know how to leverage firm-approved AI tools to enhance problem-solving and productivity and assess AI-related risks.
• Be able to work in person, with travel as required, 3 days/week at client sites or EY offices.

Responsibilities

• Support client engagement teams across life/health and property/casualty industries on actuarial and consulting work.
• Contribute to financial modeling, loss reserving, regulatory reporting, pricing, and product strategy.
• Assist transformation and innovation projects using AI and automation to improve client solutions.
