Job summary

Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) is seeking an Actuarial Valuation Professional to support GAAP or Statutory/Tax valuation and financial reporting for designated lines of business. The role will execute valuation processes and report to the Actuary, Actuarial Valuation or Sr.

Associate Actuary. The position emphasizes monthly reserve production, analysis of reserve movements, and maintenance of valuation controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science or related technical field.
• Successful completion of five ASA examination requirements.
• Minimum of one year of related actuarial experience.
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational, computer, and team skills.
• Experience with indexed products preferred but not required.
• Exposure to actuarial modeling software preferred (GGY-AXIS).

Responsibilities

• Monthly production of reserves under GAAP or Statutory/Tax bases.
• Develop information for reserve movements" review and analysis.
• Maintenance/enhancement and timely execution of valuation controls.
• Assist in maintenance of valuation programs for new products or regulations.
• Other projects as assigned.
