Job summary

The Standard’s Individual Annuities division is hiring an actuarial professional focused on driving and supporting financial reporting, FP&A, valuation, and hedging. You will partner with pricing, modeling, and finance teams to produce and communicate financial results for MYGA and FIA products.

Role emphasizes ownership of results, risk analysis, and strategic initiatives including reinsurance and affiliate programs, with near-term leadership growth and a strong, collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

  • Strong analytical and communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Experience in FP&A and FIA financial reporting.
  • Actuarial experience in Individual Annuities preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Own reporting, valuation, earnings analysis, FP&A, and hedging results for senior management.
  • Design and implement reporting for VM22, reinsurance, and business integration.
  • Analyze GAAP, statutory, and management results including reserves and capital movements.
  • Enhance governance models and internal controls with offshore partner review.
  • Collaborate with pricing, modeling, and corporate actuarial teams for aligned storytelling.
  • Identify drivers and opportunities for improvement in results.
  • Develop analytical tools and faster, clearer reporting processes.
  • Mentor/onshore and offshore team members in core responsibilities.
