Fidelity & Guaranty Life Insurance Company (F&G) is seeking an Actuarial Valuation Professional to support GAAP or Statutory/Tax valuation and financial reporting for designated lines of business. The role will execute valuation processes and report to the Actuary, Actuarial Valuation or Sr.

Associate Actuary. The position emphasizes monthly reserve production, analysis of reserve movements, and maintenance of valuation controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science or related technical field.
• Successful completion of five ASA examination requirements.
• Minimum of one year of related actuarial experience.
• Strong technical, analytical, organizational, computer, and team skills.
• Experience with indexed products preferred but not required.
• Exposure to actuarial modeling software preferred (GGY-AXIS).

Job Summary

This position's primary responsibility is to support the GAAP or Statutory/Tax Actuarial Valuation and Financial Reporting procedures for Fidelity & Guaranty Life. This position will execute either the GAAP or Statutory/Tax valuation processes of designated lines of business. This position reports to the Actuary, Actuarial Valuation or Sr. Associate Actuary.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Monthly production of reserves under the following bases: GAAP or Statutory/Tax
• Develop information for preparation, review and analysis of reserve movements
• Maintenance/enhancement and timely execution of valuation controls
• Assist in maintenance of the valuation programs for new products, new regulations, etc.
• Other projects as assigned

Experience and Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics, actuarial science or related technical field
