Job summary

Symetra Financial Corporation is seeking an Actuarial Associate I to contribute to in-force modeling and regulatory reporting for SBSC. The role involves building model outputs, enhancing reporting tools, and supporting modernization efforts under the supervision of the Production Lead.

Responsibilities

  • Quarterly and annual regulatory reporting, including model bridging runs, BEL calculations, and BEL waterfall
  • Develop and maintain process documentation for reporting & modeling
  • Assist with sensitivity analyses and stress testing across regulatory reports
  • Support continuous improvement of modeling processes and tools
  • Communicate findings clearly to management and stakeholders

Reporting to the Production Lead, this person will create SBSC model outputs for a wide range of regulatory reporting.
