Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, finance, mathematics is required.
  • Proficient in PC utilization including spreadsheets and data management software.
  • Demonstrated analytical abilities, problem solving, and analysis.
  • Committed to self-development and learning actuarial concepts.
  • Experience with coding and visual software such as Python, SQL, Power BI, Power Query.
  • Experience with modeling software, with emphasis on MG-ALFA / MG-Integrate modeling.
  • Actuarial Student track with at least one exam passed.

Responsibilities

  • Quarterly and annual regulatory reporting, including model bridging runs.
  • Finalize reported BEL/ BEL waterfall runs and BEL sensitivities.
  • Annual CISSA and ORSA stresses; annual plan updates and sensitivities.
  • Develop and maintain process documentation; implement reporting improvements.
  • Collaborate on modeling initiatives and reporting tool modernization.

Reporting to the Production Lead, this person will create SBSC model outputs for a wide range of regulatory reporting.
