Acuity Insurance seeks an Actuarial Analyst to prepare and present rating proposals for pricing various lines of insurance. The analyst will develop management information for pricing, planning and forecasting through reports, graphics, analytics, and model results.

Responsibilities include rate level indications, state- and line-specific analyses, forecasting, bureau rate-change reporting, and special studies.

Competenze

• Four-year degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics or related field.
• Successful completion of an actuarial exam (e.g., SOA/CAS).
• Commitment to obtain Fellowship in the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS).

Mansioni

• Develop rate level indications for various lines.
• Perform rate level analysis by coverage, line, state and other factors.
• Perform forecasting analysis.
• Review and prepare analysis and reports on bureau rate changes.
• Perform special studies and research.
• Assist in the design of new and revised reports.
• Active participation in the Actuarial Education Program.
• Assist with filings to the State Insurance Departments, where necessary.
• Regular and predictable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
