Job summary

CapSpecialty is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to support the Surety Team. This role helps evaluate portfolio profitability, develop pricing solutions, and deliver data-driven insights that enable informed business decisions.

You will collaborate with underwriting, claims, and Information Technology to strengthen pricing capabilities and performance metrics. The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Actuarial Science or Mathematics, is progressing through actuarial exams, and has insurance data

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, or related field.
• Demonstrated ability to pass actuarial exams.
• Experience in insurance data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Support profitability and pricing analyses for assigned products.
• Develop and maintain pricing capabilities and rate studies.
• Extract, balance, and analyze data for dashboards and KPIs.
• Assist with AI analytics reporting and monitoring.
• Collaborate with underwriting, claims, and IT to enable data-driven decisions.
