Job summary

Kalepa Insurance Services, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Actuarial Analyst to support process improvements and pricing strategies. You will analyze data, develop models, and work with various teams to contribute valuable insights.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of actuarial or related analytical experience preferred.
• Progress toward actuarial designation (e.g., ASA or equivalent) is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in Excel and at least one actuarial/statistical tool such as R, Python, SQL, or SAS.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, assess risk, and support actuarial assumptions.
• Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
• Execute individual account pricing and Managing General Agent delegated authority reviews.
• Support pricing and rate change studies, rate filings, and profitability analyses.
• Collaborate with underwriting, finance, and product teams to provide actuarial insight.
• Automate and streamline reporting processes and data workflows.
