Job summary

Milliman seeks an analytical Actuarial Analyst to support health and welfare programs, with strong Excel skills and data analysis focus. The role involves preparing deliverables, assisting with financial reviews, and collaborating across teams.

You will work in-person two days a week across Milliman offices including Omaha, NE, and you will engage in vendor evaluations, rate calculations, and health valuations while maintaining confidentiality and process discipline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, business, or related field.
• Minimum of one SOA exam passed.
• 0-2 years of experience as an Actuarial Analyst.
• Proficiency in Excel and ability to work with large datasets.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling claims data and preparing budget projections.
• Calculating contribution rates and retiree/COBRA costs.
• Performing postretirement health valuations and reporting.
• Collaborating with internal teams and ensuring quality and timeliness.
