This entry-level role emphasizes data analysis, Excel proficiency, and collaboration with consulting teams to deliver accurate deliverables. You will reconcile data, assist with financial analyses, and help ensure regulatory compliance while maintaining organized workflows.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills and experience with large datasets.
• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, or related field.
• 0-2 years actuarial analyst experience; at least one SOA exam.

Responsibilities

• Reconciling claims data, budgets, reserves, pricing, vendor renewals, and experience reports.
• Calculating employer/employee contribution rates, retiree rates, COBRA rates, and imputed income rates.
• Postretirement health valuations, including claim cost and health cost trend assumptions, liabilities projections.
• Evaluating vendors via renewals, RFPs, and market checks; conducting financial and adhoc analyses.
• Collaborating with internal teams and other Milliman groups.
• Ensuring quality, timeliness, and budget adherence; following processes and peer review.
