Milliman, Inc in Omaha, NE is seeking an entry-level Actuarial Analyst to support health and welfare benefits programs. You will perform data analysis, prepare deliverables, assist with financial reviews, and collaborate with internal teams.

The role requires strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and interest in benefits consulting. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s degree (or nearing completion) and at least one SOA exam; in-person two days per week in Milliman offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, business, or related field (or nearing completion).
• At least one SOA exam passed.
• 0-2 years of experience as an Actuarial Analyst (preferred).
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Support health & welfare employee benefits programs through data analysis and deliverables.
• Assist with financial reviews and preparation of experience reports.
• Collaborate with internal teams and Milliman groups to ensure quality and timeliness.
• Evaluate vendor renewals, RFPs, and perform financial analyses.
• Develop claim cost and health cost trend assumptions for postretirement valuations.
