Job summary
Milliman seeks an analytical Actuarial Analyst to support health and welfare employee benefits programs. You will perform data analysis, prepare deliverables, and assist with financial reviews in collaboration with internal teams.
The ideal candidate has Excel proficiency, a foundation in data analysis, and an interest in benefits consulting. This hybrid role requires in-person work two days per week at Milliman offices, including New York City locations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, math, statistics, business, or related field (or nearing completion).
- Minimum of one SOA exam passed.
- 0–2 years actuarial analyst experience.
- Strong analytical and Excel skills; data analysis in employee benefits preferred.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Support actuarial and benefits consultants with data analysis and deliverables.
- Assist with financial reviews and budget projections.
- Reconcile claims data, prepare experience reports, and analyze vendor renewals.
- Collaborate with internal teams and ensure quality and timeliness.
