Mystic Seaport Museum is seeking seasonal actor/interpreters for Lantern Lights Holiday programming in Mystic, CT. Performers will alternate between scripted plays, solo readings, and interpretive talks, dressed in 19th-century costume.
Auditions are the week of September 21st; positions require evenings, weekends, and outdoor work in all weather. Rehearsals begin in October with performances throughout December, including 12/21–12/23, with options for several nights.
Mystic Seaport Museum is seeking seasonal non-union actor/interpreters for the Museum’s Lantern Lights Holiday theatrical programming in Mystic, CT.
Lantern Lights – Actors will alternate between scripted plays/solo readings, and scripted interpretive/educational talks on various holiday-themed topics. Performers will be dressed in period costume circa 1876.
Performances are Thursday – Sunday December 3rd through December 20th, with additional performances on 12/21, 12/22, and 12/23. There are options for performing two out of four nights, or all four nights. Call times may be as early as 1:00PM. Work day is 2:30PM - 8:00PM.
Rehearsals begin in October.
