Job summary

Brookstone Estates, Emerald Glen, & Grand Victorian is seeking a dedicated Activities Supervisor to lead the resident activity team and design engaging programs. You will manage transportation, coordinate the Resident Council, and ensure participation across residents, families, and staff.

You will develop monthly calendars tailored to diverse abilities, oversee a modest budget, and document progress. Strong communication, leadership, and organization are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Must hold valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 21 years or older with driving record in good standing.
• Prior activities/life enrichment experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Must possess leadership skills and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire.
• Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Activity team, guiding residents through activities and events.
• Design and facilitate recreational and social programs to promote participation by residents, families, staff, and the community.
• Develop a monthly activities calendar tailored to residents’ abilities and preferences; document participation and progress.
• Oversee budget and cost-effective implementation of activities; manage equipment inventory and resources.
• Coordinate our Community transportation program and drive the company van for outings.
• Engage residents by coordinating the Resident Council and promoting empowerment.
• Track program impact and adjust as resident needs evolve; keep the community newsletter updated.
