Job summary

Brookstone Estates, Emerald Glen, and Grand Victorian are seeking an Activity Coordinator to lead the resident activities team and design engaging programs. You will manage monthly calendars, track participation, and oversee the budget for a cost-effective activities program.

You will also drive our community van for organized outings, coordinate the Resident Council, and continuously assess program impact to meet residents' evolving needs with compassion and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Must hold valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age of 21 with good driving record.
• Prior activities/life enrichment experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Must possess leadership skills and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire.
• Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Activity team, guiding residents through activities and events.
• Designs and facilitates recreational and social programs with broad participation.
• Develops monthly activities calendar tailored to residents' abilities and preferences; tracks participation and progress.
• Oversees budget and equipment inventory for the activities program and maximizes resources.
• Manages our Community transportation program, including driving the company van on outings.
• Coordinates the Resident Council to empower and engage residents.
• Assesses program impact and adjusts to evolving resident needs.
• Coordinates the Community newsletter reflecting our mission and core values of love, compassion, and dignity.
