Qualifications

• Experience in activity planning or recreational programming in healthcare, senior living, or community settings.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with ability to engage diverse populations.
• Basic computer proficiency for scheduling, documentation, and communication.
• Ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certifications.

Responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate a comprehensive calendar of activities for diverse interests and backgrounds.
• Lead and facilitate group activities, events, and outings promoting socialization, creativity, and physical health.
• Assess resident interests and needs to continuously improve program offerings.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure activities are safe and aligned with individual care plans.
• Manage activity budgets, supplies, and resources while complying with policies.
• Train, supervise, and motivate activity staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality programming.
• Document participation and outcomes to evaluate program effectiveness.
• Engage families and community partners to enhance program diversity and involvement.
