Job summary

Legacy Healthcare is seeking an Activity Director to join our caring skilled nursing team. You will focus on residents' emotional and social wellbeing by implementing and directing engaging activity programs that meet physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.

You will oversee all aspects of the Activity Department, participate in resident care conferences, and develop new programs to keep up with trends and industry standards. Prior supervisory experience and NCCAP certification are valued.

Qualifications

• As a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior Activity Aide and/or Activity Director experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting.
• One year of experience in a director or managerial role.
• NCCAP Certification is preferable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for residents’ emotional and social wellbeing.
• Implement and direct activity programs to meet residents' needs.
• Oversee all aspects of the Activity Department.
