Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum 2 years in therapeutic recreation or activity programming, preferably in healthcare or senior living.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance related to resident activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct a comprehensive activities program meeting residents' interests and abilities.
• Conduct and document resident assessments to identify recreational and social needs.

The Activity Director is responsible for planning, organizing, developing, and overseeing all aspects of the Activities Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as established company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement, and direct a comprehensive activities program designed to meet the individual interests, needs, and abilities of residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience in therapeutic recreation or activity programming, preferably in a healthcare, rehabilitation, long-term care, or senior living setting.
• Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to assess resident needs and develop effective recreational and therapeutic programming.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements, accreditation standards, and compliance practices related to resident activities.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
