Job summary

Oak Park Place is seeking an Activity Director to plan and lead engaging programs for our residents, focusing on entertainment, exercise and relaxation. You will encourage hobbies, parties, crafts and games, aiming to enhance residents’ daily lives in a warm community.

The ideal candidate brings at least two years in social or recreational programs, with supervisory experience and a preference for work with seniors.

Qualifications

• Two years of previous experience in a social or recreational program within the last 5 years.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role.
• Previous experience working with seniors is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organize activities that provide entertainment, exercise and relaxation for our residents.
• Encourage hobbies, planning parties, crafts, games and other activities.
• Support residents' engagement and well-being through thoughtful programming.
