Job summary

Goldwater Care Gibson City seeks an Activity Director to design and execute a comprehensive activities program that enhances residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being. You will create a monthly calendar, supervise activity aides, and ensure accurate documentation of progress notes and MDS reports.

In collaboration with the Administrator, you will help develop the activity budget and explore funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a training course for Activity Directors.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and plan activities.
• Prepare, plan and coordinate a monthly calendar of activities.
• Oversight of Activity Aides.
• Properly document MDS reports and progress notes.
• Participate with the Administrator in developing the activity budget, including creatively sourcing funds.

QUALIFICATIONS:
