Qualifications

• Two years’ experience as an activity aide/social services in a skilled nursing facility qualifies for certification testing.

Responsibilities

• Design and lead engaging activities, projects and games for residents.
• Create and implement care plans tailored to each resident’s interests.
• Promote social interaction and lead activities of various sizes (one-on-one, small group, large group).
• Serve as the event planner for a team of residents.

• Experience in a similar role within the healthcare field is preferred.
• Qualified Candidates would have their NCCAP (Certified Activity Director) or similar qualifications.
