Monroe Springs Rehab and Nursing Center is hiring an Activity Director to join our team. You will create enjoyable activities and games for residents, tailoring plans to individual interests and promoting social interaction.

The role involves leading diverse group activities, coordinating events, and serving as the activity planner for a group of residents. Experience in healthcare is preferred and NCCAP or similar certification is desired.

Qualifications

• Experience in healthcare preferred.
• NCCAP or similar qualification required.
• 2 years as activity aide/social services in a SNF qualifies to test for certification.

As the Activity Director at Monroe Springs, you will have the opportunity to provide fun and engaging activities, projects and games to our residents while focusing on their individual interests. The Activity Director makes care plans specific to each resident, promotes social interaction, leads one-on-one, small group and large group activities according to the program schedule. • Experience in a similar role within the healthcare field is preferred.

• Qualified Candidates would have their NCCAP (Certified Activity Director) or similar qualifications.

• Those who have worked as an activity aide/social services in a skilled nursing facility for 2 years qualify to test for this certification as well!
