Job summary

Epic Healthcare in Freehold, NJ is seeking an energetic Activity Director to plan and oversee a calendar of recreational, social, and therapeutic programs for residents. You will bring joy, purpose, and community to people we serve every day.

Responsibilities include designing engaging activities, coordinating arts, music, games, and outings; collaborating with nursing and therapy teams; and maintaining accurate participation records in compliance with regulations. ADC certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an activities, recreation, or therapeutic recreation role (preferably in a healthcare or senior living setting)
• Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
• Compassionate, patient, and enthusiastic personality
• Knowledge of state regulations related to activity programs in long-term care
• Certification as an Activity Director (ADC) or willingness to obtain is preferred
