We are currently seeking an Activity Coordinator at Options Behavioral Health. Options is a mental health and addiction treatment center for adolescents, adults, and seniors. Located in Indianapolis, IN, Options provides specialized care for each individual. We offer clinically sophisticated treatment in a warm and nurturing environment, forming close relationships with patients and their families, and treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Complete activity assessments through patient observation and interviews with patients and families to gather information on needs, skills, interests, and limitations for developing and implementing treatment plans.
2. Plan, organize, direct, and implement activities within the treatment program to facilitate patient progress toward treatment goals.
3. Design and execute an activities program including therapeutic leisure skills, leisure education, and leisure awareness.
4. Facilitate and lead activity sessions aimed at improving patients' mental and physical well-being.
5. Instruct patients in activities and techniques such as sports, dance, music, art, or relaxation methods tailored to their needs.
