What Benefits can you Look Forward to?
Functioning as a member of the Child & Family Life team, the Teen and Young Adult Activity Coordinator is responsible for the daily operation and supervision of the Teen and Young Adult Activity Room. Their primary goal is to maintain a safe recreation environment.They will work with a multidisciplinary team to provide teen focused scheduled recreation activities in the activity room and at bedside. The Activity Coordinator will provide direction to Child & Family Life work-study students and hospital volunteers. They will provide back up support in other activity room spaces when needed and help with hospital wide special events. While their work will focus primarily with teens and young adults, they will also be expected to engage children and family members of all ages.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
Location: Teen and Young Adult Activity Room, other Activity Rooms as needed
Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday, 10am -7pm
*Some holidays required. Schedule is eligible for shift premium.
