Job summary

Juniper is seeking a part-time Activities Assistant to support the Connections program for residents, emphasizing leisure, physical, and mental well-being. The role requires weekend availability (Saturdays and Sundays) with possible weekday mornings/evenings, and a High School Diploma at minimum.

Applicants with backgrounds in fitness, psychology, gerontology, education, or healthcare are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Experience in healthcare or service-related setting preferred.
• Background in fitness, education, or related fields encouraged.
• Knowledge of physiology and psychology of the older adult.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating the Connections activity program for the community.
• Works closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.

Pay: Starting at $16.50 per hour

Role:

Assists in the creation, planning and implementation of the Connections program - the daily activities for our residents. You will ensure the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well being.
