Job summary

Juniper Communities in Pennsylvania is seeking a part-time Connections activities coordinator to support resident engagement from 12 pm to 8 pm, with every other weekend and holiday rotation required. You will assist in planning and delivering daily activity programs to enhance leisure, physical, mental, and emotional well-being, working closely with Wellness Associates and clinical staff to tailor content for older adults.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Therapeutic Recreation, Psychology, Gerontology, or related field.
• High School Diploma required; healthcare or service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physiology and psychology of the older adult.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating of the Connections activity program for the community.
• Works closely with Wellness Associates for the implementation of Connections activity programs.

Role:

Assists in the creation, planning and implementation of the Connections program - the daily activities for our residents. You will ensure the maximum levels of resident leisure contentment, as well as physical, mental, and psychological well being.
