Job summary

Haven Health Sedona is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the Dietary Manager by stocking items, preparing and serving therapeutic meals, and helping maintain clean, organized kitchen and dining areas.

Responsibilities include portion control, reporting on resident food and beverage consumption, and ensuring safety and sanitation; you must have a Food Handler permit and pass health screenings.

Qualifications

• Food handler permit required in applicable counties.
• Fingerprint clearance card or eligible to obtain.
• Background screening and drug testing completed.
• Tuberculosis testing required.
• Employee health screening after hire.
• Ability to move, lift and transfer at least 50 pounds.
• Must read, write and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Assist under the Dietary Manager to perform dietary tasks.
• Stock food items and prep meals; store unused unpackaged items.
• Prepare, cook and serve therapeutic meals.
• Assist in portion control and monitor resident food consumption.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen, dining and utility areas.
• Report on resident food and beverage consumption.

Description

The Dietary Aide works under the direction of the Dietary Manager and perform a variety of dietary tasks including stocking food items, food prep and storage of unused unpackaged items, preparing, cooking and serving therapeutic meals, assisting in portion control, reporting on resident food and beverage consumption and cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, dining and utility areas.

• Fingerprinting Clearance Card (or eligible to obtain)
• Background Screening, Licensure Verification (if applicable), Reference Check, Drug Testing
• Tuberculosis Testing
