Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living in Colonie, NY is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to support the Director of Activities in delivering engaging resident programs. This part-time position requires a high school diploma and at least 3 years of senior living experience.

You will help orient residents to activities, work independently, and contribute to a collaborative team. We offer generous benefits, including PTO, holidays, health insurance, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 3 years required experience in Senior Assisted Living.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Director of Activities to deliver creative and exciting Resident activities meeting individual needs and interests within the community.
• Under the direction of the Director of Activities, assist with orienting all residents to activity programs.
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions.
• Must be a proven professional with compassion, integrity, and honesty.
• Has the ability to foster teamwork with co-workers, showing initiative in overcoming obstacles, helping others beyond the job responsibilities, and having a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors.

Schedule: Part Time

Monday 11am - 7:30pm, Friday 11am - 7:30pm, and Saturday 9am - 5pm

Salary: $16.00 - $18.50/hour - based on experience
