Job summary

Peregrine Senior Living at Guilderland in the greater Albany, NY region is seeking an energetic Activities Assistant to join our Memory Care team. This per diem role supports the Director of Activities in delivering engaging resident programs and orienting residents to activities.

• Must be able to work under pressure, resolve conflict, prioritize tasks, and follow through with creative ideas

$16.00 - $17.00 per hour - based on experience

Activities Assistant Responsibilities include:

• Assist with orienting all residents to activity programs
• Must be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make decisions. Must be a proven professional with compassion, integrity, and honesty
• Has the ability to work under pressure, resolve conflict, prioritize tasks, and follow through with creative ideas
• Has the ability to work reception duties as needed

Activities Assistant Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience working with adult recreation
