Job summary

Atrium Centers Gladwin Nursing & Rehabilitation Community is seeking an Activities Assistant to enrich residents' lives through engaging social, emotional, and recreational programs. This part-time, 10 hours/week position offers meaningful, family-friendly work in a 100% employee-owned organization.

You’ll assist with developing, planning, implementing, and evaluating activities, help execute the daily and monthly calendars, and encourage participation while collaborating with the Activities

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop, plan, implement, and evaluate activity programs.
• Support the execution of the daily and monthly activity calendar.
• Engage residents in group and individual activities.
• Help meet residents' spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure and social needs.
• Encourage participation while promoting dignity, independence and well-being.
• Collaborate with the Activities Director and interdisciplinary team.
