Job summary

Atrium Centers is seeking an Activity Director to enrich residents' daily lives through therapeutic recreation and meaningful experiences. You’ll lead activities that support emotional, social, and physical well-being, while acting as an owner in our 100% employee-owned organization.

As part of Atrium Centers, you’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, coordinate events, and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• CTRS, MMT, or AT credential.
• RAC certification and good standing (required if not CTRS, MMT, or AT).
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Activities Department within a healthcare setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs tailored to resident needs.
• Facilitate individual and group activities across varied functional levels.
• Complete assessments, care plans, progress notes, and MDS documentation.
• Coordinate special events, community outings, and volunteer involvement.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and families.
• Support residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs in both group and individual settings.
