Job summary

Atrium Living Centers Inc. is seeking an Activity Director to enrich residents' daily lives by creating meaningful experiences that support emotional, social, and physical well-being.

You will develop programs, lead activities, complete assessments and care plans, and coordinate events while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The role requires credentials such as CTRS/MMT/AT or RAC, plus strong communication and teamwork; 1+ year of healthcare activities experience preferred.

Qualifications

• CTRS, MMT, or AT credential required.
• RAC certification and good standing required if not CTRS/MMT/AT.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in an Activities Department within a healthcare setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive, dependable, and team-oriented mindset.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement therapeutic recreation programs tailored to resident needs.
• Facilitate individual and group activities across varied functional levels.
• Complete assessments, care plans, progress notes, and MDS documentation.
• Coordinate special events, community outings, and volunteer involvement.
• Ensure compliance with state, federal, and company regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members and families.
• Support residents’ spiritual, emotional, recreational, leisure, and social needs in both group and individual settings.
