Job summary

Carespring Health Care Management is seeking an Activity Assistant for an Independent & Assisted living facility in Ohio. You will deliver individual, group, and 1:1 activities to promote residents' psychosocial and emotional well-being, working closely with the Activity Department to meet needs and encourage engagement.

Qualifications

• Must be (or must be eligible to become) State Tested Nurse Aide to allow more active participation with activity delivery.
• Willing to learn and communicates well with others
• Has a sincere desire to work with elderly and enjoys working directly with residents, staff and families.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group and 1:1 activities for residents.
• Plans activities to meet residents’ needs via the activity calendar.
• Conducts all scheduled groups and 1:1 activities.
• Attends outings and operates bus lift and equipment.
• Attends team member meetings as needed.
• Assists with resident meals (serve/feed).
• Assists with Theme Weeks and special events.
• Documents activity participation for all groups and activities.
• Assist with customer service surveys.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Facility is currently looking for an ACTIVITY ASSISTANT. Come join our team as an Activity Assistant at our state of the art, Independent & Assisted living facility. The position provides activities to the facility residents with the goal to promote the psychosocial, spiritual and emotional well-being of residents, families and staff.

Pay $13.50 - $16.00 an hour!
